Information processing apparatus and control method

A control method for an information processing apparatus including:

• a memory that temporarily stores a program of operating system (OS);
• and a processor supplies imaging data captured by an imaging unit based on the program of OS to only one of applications running on the OS, and performs image processing on the imaging data based on an image processing program running on the OS, the method comprising:
• a step where the processor passes setting parameters used for the image processing program from a second application other than a first application to the image processing program via a registry of the OS;
• a step where the processor performs image processing on the imaging data based on the setting parameters;
• and
• a step where the processor supplies imaging data subjected to the imaging processing based on the setting parameters to the first application.
