Encrypted knowledge graph

A system comprising:

• a memory;
• one or more processor in communication with the memory;
• and
• program instructions executable by the one or more processor via the memory to perform a method comprising:
• splitting a respective portion of a knowledge graph into a plurality of knowledge subgraphs for respective user systems of a plurality of user systems;
• encrypting respective ones of the knowledge subgraphs using an encryption key;
• generating a plurality of private summary graphs comprising vertexes, wherein:
• a private summary graph is generated for respective user systems;
• and
• maintaining a collaboration graph representing collaborations between the plurality of user systems;
• mapping the vertexes in the plurality of private summary graphs to a public summary graph such that the vertexes are identifiable in the public summary graph, the vertexes in the plurality of private summary graphs being associated with secure content that is inaccessible in the public summary graph;
• and
• in response to mapping the plurality of private summary graphs of the plurality of user systems to the public summary graph, granting access to a selected knowledge subgraph from a first user system to a second user system by providing a decryption key relating to the selected knowledge subgraph from the first user system to the second user system.

A computer program product, the computer program product comprising one or more computer-readable storage media and program instructions stored on the one or more computer-readable storage media, the program instructions executable for performing a method comprising:

• splitting a respective portion of a knowledge graph into a plurality of knowledge subgraphs for respective user systems of a plurality of user systems;
• encrypting respective ones of the knowledge subgraphs using an encryption key;
• generating a plurality of private summary graphs comprising vertexes, wherein:
• a private summary graph is generated for respective user systems;
• and
• maintaining a collaboration graph representing collaborations between the plurality of user systems;
• mapping the vertexes in the plurality of private summary graphs to a public summary graph such that the vertexes are identifiable in the public summary graph, the vertexes in the plurality of private summary graphs being associated with secure content that is inaccessible in the public summary graph;
• and
• in response to mapping the plurality of private summary graphs of the plurality of user systems to the public summary graph, granting access to a selected knowledge subgraph from a first user system to a second user system by providing a decryption key relating to the selected knowledge subgraph from the first user system to the second user system.
