Fractal geometry or bio-inspired system for complex file organization and storage

A system for efficiently organizing, storing, accessing, and analyzing project data, the system comprising:

• a processor;
• a storage unit in electronic communication with the processor;
• and
• a memory in communication with the processor and comprising instructions which, when executed by the processor, program the processor to:
• receive a digital object, the digital object comprising a file or a folder;
• identify one or more keys based on name or content of the digital object;
• match, based on a similarity metric, at least one of the one or more keys with one or more tags associated with:
• (i) a reference structure, or (ii) a stored item in a file organization and storage structure corresponding to the reference structure, wherein:
• the reference structure comprises a fractal geometry or a bioinspired based structure;
• each of the one or more tags corresponds to a respective file or folder having a file path or a folder path in the storage unit and according to the file organization and storage structure;
• select a tag from the one or more tags and identify as a candidate location of the digital object, the file or the folder corresponding to the selected tag;
• and
• store the digital object in the candidate location.
