Ceiling type air conditioner

A ceiling type air conditioner comprising:

• a housing having an inlet and an outlet;
• a heat exchanger provided inside the housing to exchange heat with air suctioned through the inlet;
• a fan configured to move the air, which is heat exchanged with the heat exchanger, to be discharged through the outlet;
• and
• a blade assembly configured to guide the air to the outlet, the blade assembly including:
• a main blade rotatable with respect to a first rotation center to open and close the outlet, the main blade including a sub-blade coupling portion extending from the main blade at a side of the main blade opposite to the first rotation center,
• a sub-blade rotatably coupled to the sub-blade coupling portion at a first joint portion to be rotatable about the first joint portion so that a first side of the sub-blade moves closer to the first rotation center, and a second side of the sub-blade that is opposite the first side moves further from the first rotation center, during a rotation of the main blade to open the outlet, thereby increasing a discharge distance of the air flowing out of the outlet, and
• a guide link configured to rotate with respect to a second rotation center in association with the rotation of the main blade, and coupled to the first side of the sub-blade at a second joint portion that is rotatable about the first joint portion to guide a movement of the sub-blade.
