Systems and methods for application of surface chemistry to bath tissue, facial tissue, and paper towel

A method of applying chemistries to a paper product comprising:

• forming a paper web on a papermaking machine;
• and
• applying a chemistry in a pattern directly to the paper web while the paper web is moving through a paper converting line with a piezoelectric device during a process for converting the paper web into a roll good,
• wherein the chemistry has a viscosity of 20 centipoise (cps) to 1,000 cps as measured by a Brookfield viscometer, and
• wherein the paper product is a wet laid disposable bath tissue, facial tissue or paper towel.
