Abstract
Disclosed are a nanobarcode for controlling adhesion and differentiation of stem cells and a method of controlling adhesion and differentiation of stem cells by using nanobarcodes. The method of controlling adhesion and differentiation of stem cells of the present invention may efficiently control adhesion and differentiation of stem cells in vivo or in vitro by tuning periodicity and sequences of a ligand peptide (RGD) of a nanobarcode.
Claims7
A nanobarcode for controlling adhesion and differentiation of stem cells, the nanobarcode comprising:
- a nanobarcode in which a first segment including iron (Fe) and a second segment including gold (Au) are repeatedly formed;
- and
- an integrin ligand peptide bound to the second segment of the nanobarcode, wherein the integrin ligand peptide comprises a uniform distribution in a monolayer, and the nanobarcode comprises a density of 0.0235 to 0.0277 per square micrometer (μm2), and the stem cells adhere to the second segment.
