Abstract
Provided herein is a method of grafting a polymeric coating onto a first side of a wall of a device. The method comprises: applying an initiator substantially only to a second side of the wall; applying a coating composition to the first side of the wall; and graft-polymerizing the coating composition.
Claims22
A method of grafting a polymeric coating onto a first side of a wall of a device, the method comprising:
- applying an initiator substantially only to a second side of the wall;
- applying a coating composition to at least the first side of the wall, wherein substantially no initiator has been applied to the first side;
- and
- graft-polymerizing the coating composition present on the first side of the wall and the initiator applied substantially only to the second side of the wall to form the polymeric coating on the first side of the wall.
