Abstract
The disclosure relates to oligodendrocyte-biased glial progenitor cells and methods of making, isolating, and using such cells.
Claims24
A method of treating a myelin-related disorder in a subject comprising:
- selecting a subject having a myelin-related disorder and
- transplanting into the selected subject a cell preparation comprising human oligodendrocyte-biased glial progenitor cells, wherein at least 80% of cells in the preparation comprise oligodendrocyte-biased glial progenitor cells that are positive for the CD140a ectodomain epitope of PDGFαR, and wherein cells of the preparation do not express PSA-NCAM, CD11, CD32, and CD36.
