Applicator and method for detaching artificial hairs from an artificial lash extension and affixing the detached artificial hairs at natural lashes

An apparatus comprising:

• a pair of opposing arms comprising a first arm and a second arm, wherein the first arm and the second arm are joined at proximal ends, each of the first arm and the second arm comprising:
• an interior surface;
• an exterior surface opposite the interior surface;
• and
• a section comprising a first curvature,
• wherein the section of the first arm comprises a plurality of separating elements that are positioned in a radial arrangement with respect to the first curvature, wherein the section of the second arm comprises a plurality of slots that extend from the interior surface of the section of the second arm into a body of the section, and wherein the plurality of separating elements are shaped to detach artificial hairs from a lash extension of artificial hairs.
