Method and device for receiving information and sending information

A method for sending information, comprising:

• generating, by a network device, first indication information includes at least one bit, wherein the first indication information is used for indicating a terminal device to perform both:
• switching a currently activated bandwidth part (BWP) to a target BWP;
• and switching a currently activated physical downlink control channel (PDCCH) search space to a target PDCCH search space;
• and
• sending, by the network device, the first indication information to the terminal device;
• wherein before sending, by the network device, the first indication information to the terminal device, the method further comprises:
• sending, by the network device, configuration information to the terminal device, wherein the configuration information comprises:
• configuration information of a BWP on each carrier, and configuration information of a PDCCH search space on each BWP;
• wherein each BWP comprises a plurality of PDCCH search spaces.

A terminal device, comprising:

• a processor and a transceiver, wherein
• the transceiver is configured to receive first indication information sent by a network device;
• wherein the first indication information includes at least one bit, and the first indication information is used for indicating the terminal device to perform both:
• switching a currently activated bandwidth part (BWP) to a target BWP;
• and switching a currently activated physical downlink control channel (PDCCH) search space to a target PDCCH search space;
• wherein the transceiver is further configured to:
• before receiving the first indication information sent by the network device, receive configuration information sent by the network device;
• wherein the configuration information comprises:
• configuration information of a BWP on each carrier, and configuration information of a PDCCH search space on each BWP;
• wherein each BWP comprises a plurality of PDCCH search spaces.

A network device, comprising:

• a processor and a transceiver, wherein
• the processor is configured to generate first indication information includes at least one bit, wherein the first indication information is used for indicating a terminal device to perform both:
• switching a currently activated bandwidth part (BWP) to a target BWP;
• and switching a currently activated physical downlink control channel (PDCCH) search space to a target PDCCH search space;
• and
• the transceiver is configured to send the first indication information to the terminal device;
• wherein the transceiver is further configured to:
• before sending the first indication information to the terminal device, send configuration information to the terminal device;
• wherein the configuration information comprises:
• configuration information of a BWP on each carrier, and configuration information of a PDCCH search space on each BWP;
• wherein each BWP comprises a plurality of PDCCH search spaces.
