Abstract
A wireless device may communicate via a primary cell comprising a primary control channel, and via a secondary cell comprising a secondary control channel, and may signal a scheduling request for the transmission of information via either of the control channels. A scheduling request prohibit timer may be started for the transmission via either of the control channels.
Claims40
A method comprising:
- receiving, by a wireless device:
- a timer indication for a scheduling request (SR) prohibit timer;
- and
- a maximum value for a SR counter;
- and
- in a transmission time interval in which the wireless device has more than one valid control channel SR resource among a primary control channel and a secondary control channel:
- incrementing, by the wireless device, the SR counter for an SR transmission via either the primary control channel or the secondary control channel;
- signaling an SR via a valid control channel SR resource that is selected from one of the primary control channel or the secondary control channel;
- and
- starting the SR prohibit timer for the SR transmission via either the primary control channel or the secondary control channel, wherein a duration of the SR prohibit timer is based on the timer indication.

- receive:
- a timer indication for a scheduling request (SR) prohibit timer;

- start the SR prohibit timer for the SR transmission via either the primary control channel or the secondary control channel, wherein a duration of the SR prohibit timer is based on the timer indication.
