Protected sessionless WiFi sensing

A method for wireless communication by a first wireless communication device, comprising:

• receiving a first wireless transmission, the first wireless transmission including a transmit (TX) parameter information element (IE) and a message integrity code (MIC), wherein the first wireless transmission is associated with an access category (AC) or a traffic stream (TS) field;
• verifying an integrity of the AC or the TS field associated with the first wireless transmission based at least in part on the MIC;
• receiving one or more transmission parameters for one or more second wireless communication devices associated with the TX parameter IE based at least in part on verification of the integrity of the AC or the TS field;
• receiving a second wireless transmission from one of the one or more second wireless communication devices;
• and
• receiving, based at least in part on verification of the integrity of the AC or the TS field, one or more wireless sensing measurements associated with the second wireless transmission and the one or more transmission parameters.

A non-transitory computer-readable storage medium storing instructions, that, when executed by one or more processors of a first wireless communication device, cause the first wireless communication device to perform operations comprising:

• receiving a first wireless transmission including a transmit (TX) parameter information element (IE) and a message integrity code (MIC), wherein the first wireless transmission is associated with an access category (AC) or a traffic stream (TS) field;
• verifying an integrity of the AC or the TS field associated with the first wireless transmission based at least in part on the MIC;
• receiving one or more transmission parameters for one or more second wireless communication devices associated with the TX parameter IE based at least in part on verification of the integrity of the AC or the TS field;
• receiving a second wireless transmission from one of the one or more second wireless communication devices;
• and
• receiving, based at least in part on verification of the integrity of the AC or the TS field, one or more wireless sensing measurements associated with the second wireless transmission and the one or more transmission parameters.
