Device for electrically conductive connecting of conductors with a retaining device

A device for connecting first conductors and second conductors by ultrasonic welding, comprising:

• at least one lateral slide, a sonotrode, and a counter electrode defining a compression space;
• wherein the compression space is configured for welding first electric conductors to form a first connection by ultrasonic welding, and for welding second electric conductors to form a second connection by ultrasonic welding;
• and
• a retention device located outside the compression space when the first and the second electric conductors are welded;
• wherein the retention device is provided on an upper side surface of the at least one lateral slide, or on the counter electrode, or, if a housing is present surrounding the compression space, the retention device extends from the interior of the housing, or from an element closing a bottom side of the housing;
• wherein the retention device is configured to keep the first connection out of the compression space when the second electric conductors are welded, and
• wherein the retention device is formed as a recess.
