Common-mode choke coil

A common-mode choke coil comprising:

• a multilayer body including a plurality of non-conductor layers, the plurality of non-conductor layers being stacked and each made of a non-conductor, and the plurality of non-conductor layers including a first plurality of non-conductor layers and a second plurality of non-conductor layers;
• a first coil and a second coil that are incorporated in the multilayer body, the first coil having a path length L1 and including a first coil conductor disposed along a first interface which is an interface between the first plurality of non-conductor layers, the second coil having a path length L2 and including a second coil conductor disposed along a second interface which is an interface between the second plurality of non-conductor layers and different from the first interface along which the first coil conductor is disposed, and a sum of the path length L1 and the path length L2 being from 2.91 mm to 3.74 mm;
• a first terminal electrode and a second terminal electrode that are provided on an outer surface of the multilayer body, the first terminal electrode being electrically connected to a first end, the second terminal electrode being electrically connected to a second end, the first end and the second end being different ends of the first coil;
• and
• a third terminal electrode and a fourth terminal electrode that are provided on an outer surface of the multilayer body, the third terminal electrode being electrically connected to a third end, the fourth terminal electrode being electrically connected to a fourth end, the third end and the fourth end being different ends of the second coil,
• wherein
• the multilayer body is a cuboid in shape, the cuboid having
• an upper face and a lower face that extend in a direction in which the plurality of non-conductor layers extend, the upper face and the lower face being opposite to each other, and the lower face being a mounting face that is directed toward a mounting substrate,
• a first lateral face and a second lateral face that couple the upper face and the lower face to each other, the first lateral face and the second lateral face being opposite to each other, and
• a first end face and a second end face that couple the upper face and the lower face to each other and couple the first lateral face and the second lateral face to each other, the first end face and the second end face being opposite to each other,
• the first terminal electrode has a first lateral-face electrode portion provided on the first lateral face, and a first lower-face electrode portion contiguous to the first lateral-face electrode portion and provided on a portion of the lower face,
• the second terminal electrode has a second lateral-face electrode portion provided on the second lateral face, and a second lower-face electrode portion contiguous to the second lateral-face electrode portion and provided on a portion of the lower face,
• the third terminal electrode has a third lateral-face electrode portion provided on the first lateral face, and a third lower-face electrode portion contiguous to the third lateral-face electrode portion and provided on a portion of the lower face,
• the fourth terminal electrode has a fourth lateral-face electrode portion provided on the second lateral face, and a fourth lower-face electrode portion contiguous to the fourth lateral-face electrode portion and provided on a portion of the lower face, and
• the first lower-face electrode portion, the second lower-face electrode portion, the third lower-face electrode portion, and the fourth lower-face electrode portion each have an area of from 0.004 μm2 to 0.044 μm2.
