Display device

A display device comprising:

• a first substrate;
• pixels in a display area;
• signal lines arrayed in a first direction;
• scanning lines arrayed in a second direction;
• a first circuit element, on the first substrate, located outside the display area;
• a second circuit element, on the first substrate, located outside the display area;
• a third circuit element, on the first substrate, located outside the display area;
• and
• a fourth circuit element, on the first substrate, located outside the display area,
• wherein
• the first substrate has a shape including a curved portion at least in a part of an outline,
• the signal lines include a first signal line,
• the first circuit element is connected to the first signal line,
• the second circuit element is connected to the first signal line through the first circuit element and is not directly connected to any other signal lines,
• the first circuit element is shifted obliquely from the second circuit element with respect to the first direction and the second direction,
• the first circuit element is connected to the second circuit element by a first conductive line,
• the scanning lines include a first scanning line,
• the third circuit element is connected to the first scanning line,
• the fourth circuit element is connected to the first scanning line through the third circuit element and is not directly connected to any other scanning lines,
• the third circuit element is shifted obliquely from the fourth circuit element with respect to the first direction and the second direction,
• the third circuit element is connected to the fourth circuit element by a second conductive line,
• the first circuit element, the second circuit element, the third circuit element, and the fourth circuit element are located between the outline of the first substrate and the display area at the curved portion,
• the first circuit element is located between the second circuit element and the display area at the curved portion, and
• the second circuit element is located between the outline of the first substrate and the first circuit element at the curved portion.
