Automated power-related device usage determinations using artificial intelligence techniques

A non-transitory processor-readable storage medium having stored therein program code of one or more software programs, wherein the program code when executed by at least one processing device causes the at least one processing device:

• to determine power-related information for one or more devices by processing utilization data associated with the one or more devices using one or more artificial intelligence techniques;
• to determine, based at least in part on the power-related information, multiple instances of inactivity and durations thereof for the one or more devices;
• to determine at least one particular duration of inactivity for the one or more devices based at least in part on a number of occurrences of each of the determined durations of instances of inactivity;
• to generate, based at least in part on the at least one particular duration of inactivity, one or more sleep mode configuration modification recommendations for the one or more devices;
• and
• to perform one or more automated actions based at least in part on the one or more sleep mode configuration modification recommendations.

An apparatus comprising:

• at least one processing device comprising a processor coupled to a memory;
• the at least one processing device being configured:
• to determine power-related information for one or more devices by processing utilization data associated with the one or more devices using one or more artificial intelligence techniques;
• to determine, based at least in part on the power-related information, multiple instances of inactivity and durations thereof for the one or more devices;
• to determine at least one particular duration of inactivity for the one or more devices based at least in part on a number of occurrences of each of the determined durations of instances of inactivity;
• to generate, based at least in part on the at least one particular duration of inactivity, one or more sleep mode configuration modification recommendations for the one or more devices;
• and
• to perform one or more automated actions based at least in part on the one or more sleep mode configuration modification recommendations.
