Cloud-based building management system

A gateway communicatively coupled with one or more building system components at a building site, wherein the gateway is configured to:

• communicate with a cloud-based building management system;
• collect operational data from the one or more building system components at the building site;
• transmit the operational data from the one or more of the building system components at the building site to the cloud-based building management system;
• update at least a portion of the operational data in the gateway in response to detecting a change made to the operational data in the cloud-based building management system.

A non-transitory, computer-readable storage medium having stored thereon executable instructions that, when executed by one or more processors of a cloud-based server, cause the one or more processors of the cloud-based server to:

• receive, from a gateway, information identifying one or more building system components;
• create a site configuration based at least in part on the identified information for the one or more building system components;
• transmit the site configuration to the gateway;
• and
• update the site configuration in the cloud-based server based on a change made to the site configuration in the gateway.
