Abstract
An example operation includes one or more of determining a location in an area that may lose electricity during an event related to a grid, conserving energy through a muting of energy consumption at the location, storing the conserved energy in an energy storage device at the location, and using the conserved energy at the location when the event occurs.
Claims17
A method, comprising:
- receiving a message from a server which comprises a description of an event that is going to occur in an area and an expected start time of the event:
- determining a location in the area that is going to lose electricity supplied from an electrical grid during the event;
- conserving energy through a muting of energy consumption at the location based on the expected start time of the event;
- storing the conserved energy in an energy storage device at the location;
- determining that from a current time to the expected start time of the event, the storing of the conserved energy in the energy storage device is insufficient to fully charge the energy storage device;
- identifying at least one transport having sufficient charge to fully charge the energy storage device before the expected start time of the event;
- and
- requesting the at least one transport to fully charge the energy storage device.

A system, comprising:
- a processor;
- and
- a memory, coupled to the processor, comprising instructions that when executed by the processor are configured to:
- receive a message from a server which comprises a description of an event that is going to occur in an area and an expected start time of the event
- determine a location in the area that is going to lose electricity supplied from an electrical grid during the event;
- conserve energy through a muted energy consumption at the location based on the expected start time of the event;
- store the conserved energy in an energy storage device at the location;
- determine that from a current time to the expected start time of the event, the storing of the conserved energy in the energy storage device is insufficient to fully charge the energy storage device;
- identify at least one transport having sufficient charge to fully charge the energy storage device before the expected start time of the event;
- and
- request the at least one transport to fully charge the energy storage device.

A non-transitory computer readable storage medium comprising instructions, that when read by a processor, cause the processor to perform:
- receiving a message from a server which comprises a description of an event that is going to occur in an area and an expected start time of the event;
- determining a location in the area that is going to lose electricity supplied from an electrical grid during the event;
- conserving energy through a muting of energy consumption at the location based on the expected start time of the event;
- storing the conserved energy in an energy storage device at the location;
- determining that from a current time to the expected start time of the event, the storing of the conserved energy in the energy storage device is insufficient to fully charge the energy storage device;
- identifying at least one transport having sufficient charge to fully charge the energy storage device before the expected start time of the event;
- and
- requesting the at least one transport to fully charge the energy storage device.
