Planet carrier assembly

A planet carrier assembly comprising a first carrier side plate of a planet carrier and comprising a shaft, the shaft being provided with a guide surface and with an axial stop axially adjacent to the guide surface, and a holder for the first carrier side plate being radially supported on the guide surface and being centered on an axially aligned axis of rotation of the shaft, the first carrier side plate and the shaft being at least materially bonded to one another in a first joining zone, wherein the first carrier side plate and the shaft are materially bonded to one another at the first joining zone formed axially between the axial stop and the first carrier side plate, wherein the axial stop is provided with at least one joining surface which faces the first carrier side plate and extends radially outwards away from the axis of rotation and extends at least partially around the circumference of the joining surface, and the first joining zone is formed axially between the first carrier side plate and the joining surface.
