Disposable bioprocess system supporting biological activity

A Disposable Bioprocess System supporting biological activity wherein the system is adapted to be connected with a fluid tight container comprising a process liquid in an interior of said container surrounded by walls separating said liquid in the interior of said container from an exterior facility area;

• said system comprising:
• at least one electronically controlled conveying liquid pumping device configured to convey the process liquid wherein the at least one electronically controlled conveying liquid pumping device is controlled by a Programmable Logic Control System (PLC);
• at least one membrane filter device adapted to separate process liquid from the exterior facility area, said membrane filter device being configured to receive and separate said process liquid into retentate and permeate and comprising a first liquid inlet port, a second retentate outlet port, and a third permeate outlet port, wherein said membrane filter device is configured to communicate with process liquid,
• at least one first liquid valve, wherein said at least one first liquid valve is configured to control communication between process liquid in said interior of said container with said at least one electronically controlled liquid pumping device and/or said membrane filter device, wherein the at least one first liquid valve is located before the inlet port of the at least one membrane filter device;
• and
• at least one second liquid valve, wherein said at least one second liquid valve is configured to control communication between said at least one electronically controlled conveying liquid pumping device and/or said membrane filter device and/or said container, wherein the at least one second liquid valve is located after the retentate outlet port of the at least one membrane filter device.
