Abstract
The present patent application relates to a composition for topical application in the form of an oil-in-water emulsion comprising an oily phase dispersed in an aqueous phase, characterized in that it comprises at least one noncrosslinked amphiphilic polymer, the globules of the said emulsion exhibiting a mean size ranging from 15 to 500 microns and the oily phase being present in an amount of less than 35% by weight, with respect to the total weight of the composition.
Claims17
An oil-in-water emulsion composition comprising an oil phase and a water phase, wherein the composition comprises at least one amphiphlic polymer, wherein the at least one amphiphilic polymer is a polymer of natural origin modified by at least one fatty chain comprising 6 to 30 carbon atoms, wherein the oil phase is in the form of globules having a mean size ranging from 15 to 500 microns, wherein the oil phase is present in the composition in an amount of less than 3 5% by weight with respect to the total weight of the composition, and wherein the composition is translucent and has a transmission of light at a wavelength equal to 500 nm, through a sample with a thickness of 50 μm measured using a Carry 600 UV/visible spectrophotometer at a wavelength equal to 500 nm.
