Abstract
Provided is a pharmaceutical composition for treating a mast cell tumor, including a benzenesulfonamide derivative and a pharmaceutically acceptable carrier. Also provided is a method for treating a mast cell tumor in a subject in need thereof by using the pharmaceutical composition.
Claims13
A method for treating a mast cell tumor in a subject in need thereof, comprising administering a therapeutically effective amount of a pharmaceutical composition to the subject, wherein the pharmaceutical composition comprises a benzenesulfonamide derivative and a pharmaceutically acceptable carrier thereof, wherein the benzenesulfonamide derivative is para-toluene sulfonamide, ortho-toluene sulfonamide, or meta-toluene sulfonamide, or a pharmaceutically acceptable salt thereof,
- wherein the pharmaceutically acceptable carrier is at least one selected from the group consisting of alkylene glycol, sebacic acid, dimethyl sulfoxide, and any combination thereof, and
- wherein the pharmaceutical composition is administered to the subject by an intratumoral injection.
