Method and apparatus for reporting HARQ feedback information to base station in NR V2X

A first device adapted to perform wireless communication, the first device comprising:

• at least one transceiver;
• at least one processor;
• and
• at least one memory connected to the at least one processor and storing instructions that, based on being executed, cause the first device to perform operations comprising:
• receiving, from a base station, information related to a sidelink (SL) grant and information related to a physical uplink control channel (PUCCH) resource;
• obtaining a medium access control (MAC) packet data unit (PDU);
• generating hybrid automatic repeat request (HARQ) feedback information related to the MAC PDU;
• and
• transmitting, to the base station, the HARQ feedback information based on the PUCCH resource,
• wherein, based on that the first device does not transmit the MAC PDU, due to prioritization, the HARQ feedback information is generated as a negative acknowledgment (NACK).

A processing device adapted to control a first device performing wireless communication, the processing device comprising:

• at least one processor;
• and
• at least one memory connected to the at least one processor and storing instructions that, based on being executed, cause the first device to perform operations comprising:
• receiving, from a base station, information related to a sidelink (SL) grant and information related to a physical uplink control channel (PUCCH) resource;
• obtaining a medium access control (MAC) packet data unit (PDU);
• generating hybrid automatic repeat request (HARQ) feedback information related to the MAC PDU;
• and
• transmitting, to the base station, the HARQ feedback information based on the PUCCH resource,
• wherein, based on that the first device does not transmit the MAC PDU, due to prioritization, the HARQ feedback information is generated as a negative acknowledgment (NACK).
