Abstract
Systems and methods for operating a datacenter are disclosed. In at least one embodiment, a power delivery system includes one or more fuel cells to provide a source of electrical power for a datacenter, where waste heat produced by a fuel cell is to be captured and provided to an absorption chiller to produce a cooled liquid for use in a cooling system for this datacenter.
Claims16
A system, comprising:
- a power delivery system including one or more fuel cells to provide a source of electrical power for a datacenter, waste heat produced by the one or more fuel cells to be captured and provided to an absorption chiller to produce a cooled liquid for cooling one or more computing components in the datacenter by cold plate cooling or by immersion cooling.
A datacenter management system, comprising:
- a power delivery system including one or more fuel cells to provide a source of electrical power for a datacenter;
- and
- a cooling system including one or more cooling loops to cool at least a portion of the datacenter, the cooling system further including one or more absorption chillers to receive waste heat, captured from the one or more fuel cells, to produce cooled liquid to be circulated through the one or more cooling loops to cool one or more computing components in the datacenter by cold plate cooling or by immersion cooling.
