Abstract
A control apparatus comprises a determination unit configured to, in a case where a user operation for removing an image capturing apparatus being a control target from the control target is performed, determine whether or not the image capturing apparatus is executing a specific function, and a control unit configured to, in a case where the determination unit determines that the image capturing apparatus is executing the specific function, cause the image capturing apparatus to stop the specific function.
Claims15
A control apparatus comprising a computer executing instructions which, when executed by the computer, cause the control apparatus to:
- determine whether an operation state indicates that an image capturing apparatus is operating an automatic control function or not;
- and
- in a case where the operation state is determined that the image capturing apparatus is not operating the automatic control function, transmit, to the image capturing apparatus set as a control target of the control apparatus, a first control command to cause the image capturing apparatus set as the control target to perform a specific function,
- wherein, in a case where an operation state is determined that the image capturing apparatus is operating the automatic control function, a second control command to cause the image capturing apparatus set as the control target to stop the specific function is not transmitted to the image capturing apparatus.
A control method that a control apparatus performs, the method comprising:
- determining whether an operation state indicates that an image capturing apparatus is operating an automatic control function or not;
- and
- in a case where the operation state is determined that the image capturing apparatus is not operating the automatic control function, transmitting, to the image capturing apparatus set as a control target of the control apparatus, a first control command to cause the image capturing apparatus set as the control target to perform a specific function,
- wherein, in a case where an operation state is determined that the image capturing apparatus is operating the automatic control function, a second control command to cause the image capturing apparatus set as the control target to stop the specific function is not transmitted to the image capturing apparatus.
A non-transitory computer-readable storage medium storing a computer program that cause a computer to perform a method comprising:
- determining whether an operation state indicates that an image capturing apparatus is operating an automatic control function or not;
- and
- in a case where the operation state is determined that the image capturing apparatus is not operating the automatic control function, transmitting, to the image capturing apparatus set as a control target of the control apparatus, a first control command to cause the image capturing apparatus set as the control target to perform a specific function,
- wherein, in a case where an operation state is determined that the image capturing apparatus is operating the automatic control function, a second control command to cause the image capturing apparatus set as the control target to stop the specific function is not transmitted to the image capturing apparatus.
