Abstract
A first message is broadcasted to a plurality of remote computers identifying an attribute of a host vehicle. A second message including a request to receive data about the identified attribute in response to broadcasting the first message is received from one of the remote computers. Upon receiving the second message, a host vehicle component is actuated to output at least one of light or sound associated with the identified attribute.
Claims18
A method, comprising:
- broadcasting a first message to a plurality of remote computers identifying an attribute of a host vehicle;
- receiving, from one of the remote computers, a second message including a request to receive data about the identified attribute in response to broadcasting the first message;
- upon receiving the second message, actuating a host vehicle component to output at least one of light or sound associated with the identified attribute;
- actuating a target vehicle component based on detecting actuation of the host vehicle component, wherein the actuation of the host vehicle component provides data about the identified attribute for detection by a target vehicle sensor;
- and
- actuating the target vehicle sensor to obtain the sensor data including the host vehicle upon providing the second message.

A system, comprising:
- a host vehicle computer including a processor and a memory, the memory storing instructions executable by the processor to:
- broadcast a first message to a plurality of remote computers identifying an attribute of a host vehicle;
- receive, from one of the remote computers, a second message including a request to receive data about the identified attribute in response to broadcasting the first message;
- and
- upon receiving the second message, actuate a host vehicle component to output at least one of light or sound associated with the identified attribute;
- and
- the one remote computer, the one remote computer being included in a target vehicle, wherein the one remote computer includes a second processor and a second memory storing instructions executable by the second processor to:
- actuate a target vehicle component based on detecting actuation of the host vehicle component, wherein the actuation of the host vehicle component provides data about the identified attribute for detection by a target vehicle sensor;
- and
- actuate the target vehicle sensor to obtain the sensor data including the host vehicle upon providing the second message.
