Sporting event wagering recommendations

A system comprising:

• a processor;
• and
• a memory device that stores a plurality of instructions that, when executed by the processor, cause the processor to:
• for a first sporting event wager available to be placed:
• determine, based on first data associated with a first user, second data associated with a second user that is different from the first user, and third data associated with a parameter of the first sporting event wager, if that first sporting event wager qualifies as a first recommended sporting event wager, wherein, prior to the first sporting event wager being available to be placed, a predetermined relationship existed between the first user and the second user, and
• responsive to the first sporting event wager qualifying as the first recommended sporting event wager:
• communicate data which results in a display device displaying a notification of the first recommended sporting event wager, and
• enable, via a first quantity of inputs associated with the first user, a placement of the first recommended sporting event wager, wherein the first quantity of inputs is less than a second quantity of inputs associated with the second user placing the first recommended sporting event wager, and
• for a second, different sporting event wager available to be placed:
• determine, based on first data associated with the first user, fourth data associated with a third user that is different from the first user, and fifth data associated with a parameter of the second, different sporting event wager, if that second, different sporting event wager qualifies as a second recommended sporting event wager, wherein, prior to the second, different sporting event wager being available to be placed, a predetermined relationship existed between the first user and the third user, and
• responsive to the second, different sporting event wager qualifying as the second recommended sporting event wager:
• communicate data which results in the display device displaying a notification of the second recommended sporting event wager, and
• enable, via a third quantity of inputs associated with the first user, a placement of the second recommended sporting event wager, wherein the third quantity of inputs is less than a fourth quantity of inputs associated with the third user placing the second recommended sporting event wager.

A method of operating a system, the method comprising:

• responsive to an occurrence of a sporting event wager identification event, determining, by a processor, if any of a plurality of sporting event wagers available to be placed qualify as a recommended sporting event wager, wherein the determination is based on first data associated with a first user and second data associated with a second user, the second user is different from the first user and prior to the occurrence of the sporting event wager identification event, a predetermined relationship existed between the first user and the second user, and
• for each of any of the plurality of sporting event wagers available to be placed determined to qualify as the recommended sporting event wager:
• displaying, by a display device, a notification of the recommended sporting event wager, and
• enabling, by the processor and via a first quantity of inputs associated with the first user, a placement of the recommended sporting event wager, wherein the first quantity of inputs is less than a second quantity of inputs associated with the second user placing the recommended sporting event wager.
