A computer-implemented method for detecting events of a building, the method implemented using a building analysis (“BA”) system, the BA system including (a) a plurality of sensors positioned within a building, the plurality of sensors configured to detect a condition of an infrastructure of the building, wherein the infrastructure is includes (i) a plurality of fixtures associated with the building and (ii) person a plurality of persons located within the building, (b) a memory device, and (c) a building analysis (“BA”) server communicatively coupled to the plurality of sensors, and wherein the plurality of sensors comprises a sensor configured to detect audio data at least one of the plurality of fixtures associated with the building and of at least one person of the plurality of persons located within the building the BA server including one or more processors in communication with the memory device, the method comprising:
- building a profile for the infrastructure using historical sensor data received over a period of time, the profile including i) detected historic conditions of the plurality of fixtures included within or part of the building and ii) detected historic conditions of the at least one person including audio data of the at least one person, the profile comprising characteristics representative of a range of conditions of the infrastructure including audio data of at least one person located within the building;
- storing the profile in the memory device;
- receiving, current person audio data from the at least one person;
- comparing the current person audio data to the profile to determine a change from the detected historic conditions of the at least one person, wherein the determined change is used to determine a condition associated with the building;
- generating, based upon the comparison, an alert message that includes the determined condition and a recommended action for an owner of the building, wherein the recommended action is at least one of a preventative action or a corrective action;
- and
- transmitting the alert message to a user computing device associated with the owner of the building.
