Hinge configuration for an electronic device

An electronic device, comprising:

• a base;
• a lid, the lid to rotate relative to the base about an axis between an open configuration of the electronic device and a closed configuration of the electronic device;
• a foot adjacent an end of the lid, the foot having a rounded surface to push against a surface on which the electronic device is to rest and raise at least an end portion of the base as the lid is rotated about the axis toward the open configuration, the at least the end portion of the base to raise relative to the surface contemporaneously as the foot pushes against the surface, the foot to support the lid in a range of angles relative to the base;
• a keyboard;
• a display;
• memory;
• one or more processors;
• and
• a battery.

An electronic device, comprising:

• a base to support a keyboard;
• a lid to support a display;
• a hinge to join the base and the lid, rotation of the lid away from the base about an axis of rotation of the hinge to cause at least an end portion of the base to raise relative to a surface on which the base is supported, the at least the end portion of the base to raise in direct response to rotation of the lid about the axis of rotation of the hinge;
• and
• an antenna adjacent the end portion of the base, the antenna to raise away from the surface with the base.
