Abstract
Device for displaying phases of the moon with a fist display member (80) bearing a plurality of first images (81-86) at least partially representing the moon, a display zone, driving means (22, 23, 25, 40, 41, 43, 63, 71, 72, 61, 62) arranged to displace, by successive jumps, the first display member (80) relative to the display zone, to display a succession of representations of the moon. An original feature of the invention is that the periods of display of the first images are not all equal.
Claims12
A device for displaying phases of a moon for a timepiece comprising:
- a first display member bearing a plurality of first images at least partially representing the moon;
- a display zone;
- a driving unit arranged to move, by successive jumps, the first display member relatively to the display zone in order to display a succession of representations of the moon,
- wherein said driving unit is adapted to move the first display member by successive jumps at variable time intervals such that periods of display of the first images are not all equal.
