Also disclosed are methods for prophylaxis of infection with Pseudomonas aeruginosa using the proteins, nucleic acids, vectors or transformed cells.
Claims18
A pharmaceutical composition comprising a polypeptide and a pharmaceutically acceptable carrier, vehicle or diluent, and an immunological adjuvant,
- wherein the polypeptide comprises:
- a) an amino acid sequence consisting of residues 29-742 of SEQ ID NO:
- 18, or
- b) an amino acid sequence consisting of at least or exactly 100 contiguous amino acids from residues 29-742 of SEQ ID NO:
- 18, or
- c) an amino acid sequence having a sequence identity of at least 90% with the amino acid sequence of a), or
- d) an amino acid sequence having a sequence identity of at least 90% with the amino acid sequence of b),
- wherein the polypeptide lacks amino acid residues 1-28 in SEQ ID NO:
- 18, and wherein the polypeptide is antigenic in a human being, to which the polypeptide has been administered.
