Abstract
A method of monitoring a conveyance apparatus within a conveyance system including: detecting a plurality of accelerations of the conveyance apparatus; determining a number of maximum accelerations of the plurality of accelerations that are above a threshold acceleration; determining that the number of maximum accelerations exceeds a threshold number of maximum accelerations within a threshold time period; and determining a health level of the conveyance system in response to the number of maximum accelerations within the threshold time period.
Claims18
A method of monitoring a conveyance apparatus within a conveyance system, the method comprising:
- detecting a plurality of accelerations of the conveyance apparatus;
- determining a number of maximum accelerations of the plurality of accelerations that are above a threshold acceleration;
- determining that the number of maximum accelerations exceeds a threshold number of maximum accelerations within a threshold time period;
- and
- determining a health level of the conveyance system in response to the number of maximum accelerations within the threshold time period.
A system for monitoring a conveyance apparatus within a conveyance system, the system comprising:
- a processor;
- and
- a memory comprising computer-executable instructions that, when executed by the processor, cause the processor to perform operations, the operations comprising:
- detecting a plurality of accelerations of the conveyance apparatus;
- determining a number of maximum accelerations of the plurality of accelerations that are above a threshold acceleration;
- determining that the number of maximum accelerations exceeds a threshold number of maximum accelerations within a threshold time period;
- and
- determining a health level of the conveyance system in response to the number of maximum accelerations within the threshold time period.
A computer program product embodied on a non-transitory computer readable medium, the computer program product including instructions that, when executed by a processor, cause the processor to perform operations comprising:
- detecting a plurality of accelerations of the conveyance apparatus;
- determining a number of maximum accelerations of the plurality of accelerations that are above a threshold acceleration;
- determining that the number of maximum accelerations exceeds a threshold number of maximum accelerations within a threshold time period;
- and
- determining a health level of the conveyance system in response to the number of maximum accelerations within the threshold time period.
