Vehicle seat

A vehicle seat, comprising a seat cushion and a seat back,

• wherein the seat cushion includes:
• a pad;
• a skin material covering an upper surface of the pad;
• and
• a sensor provided between the upper surface of the pad and the skin material for acquiring information on a seat occupant,
• wherein the pad is provided with a through hole passed from the upper surface of the pad to a lower surface of the pad, and a recess formed in the lower surface of the pad and connected to the through hole, the sensor being connected to a wire harness extending in the through hole and the recess,
• wherein the pad includes a rigid part and a soft part with higher flexibility than the rigid part,
• wherein the soft part is located above the rigid part,
• wherein the through hole is formed to pass through both the rigid part and the soft part, and
• wherein the rigid part includes an inclined surface inclined upward toward the rear, the inclined surface being located behind the through hole formed in the rigid part.

A vehicle seat, comprising a seat cushion and a seat back,

• wherein the seat cushion includes:
• a pad;
• a skin material covering an upper surface of the pad;
• and
• a sensor provided between the upper surface of the pad and the skin material for acquiring information on a seat occupant,
• wherein the pad is provided with a through hole passed from the upper surface of the pad to a lower surface of the pad, and a recess formed in the lower surface of the pad and connected to the through hole, the sensor being connected to a wire harness extending in the through hole and the recess,
• wherein the pad includes a rigid part and a soft part with higher flexibility than the rigid part,
• wherein the soft part is located above the rigid part, and
• wherein the through hole is formed to pass through both the rigid part and the soft part.
