Rowing machine adaptor

A rowing machine comprising:

• a cable having a first end connected to a resistance module and an opposite distal end;
• a handle having a first portion, a second portion, and an intermediate portion, said first portion of said handle being configured to be grasped by a user's first hand, said second portion of said handle being configured to be grasped by said user's second hand, said intermediate portion of said handle being disposed between said first portion of said handle and said second portion of said handle, said intermediate portion being attached to said distal end of said cable;
• a frame;
• a roller assembly movable along said frame;
• a seat movably coupled to said frame;
• a first receiver fixed with respect to said seat, said first receiver being configured to selectively receive said first portion of said handle;
• and
• a second receiver fixed with respect to said seat, said second receiver being configured to selectively receive said second portion of said handle;
• and wherein
• said first receiver and said second receiver are rigidly affixed to said seat by at least a first fastener;
• said first receiver and said second receiver are integral parts of a bracket;
• said bracket includes a plate defining a first fastener passage;
• said first fastener is disposed through said first fastener passage of said plate of said bracket;
• said seat is fixedly attached to said roller assembly by said first fastener;
• and
• said plate is fixedly disposed between said roller assembly and said seat.
