Abstract
Techniques disclosed herein relate generally to notification generation in a medical device system. In some embodiments, the techniques involve generating a first notification via a medical application executing on a first device, determining that the first notification was not acknowledged within a predetermined time frame, and causing generation of a second notification at a medical device carried by a user to notify the user that the first notification has not been acknowledged.
Claims19
A processor-implemented method comprising:
- generating a first notification via a medical application executing on a non-medical device, wherein the non-medical device is not configured to detect a medical condition of a user;
- determining that the first notification was not acknowledged within a predetermined time frame;
- verifying, in response to determining that the first notification was not acknowledged within the predetermined time frame, whether the medical application has access to user interface resources of the non-medical device;
- and
- causing delivery of a second notification at a medical device attached to a body of the user to notify the user that the first notification has not been acknowledged.
A system comprising:
- one or more processors;
- and
- one or more processor-readable media storing instructions which, when executed by the one or more processors, cause performance of operations comprising:
- generating a first notification via a medical application executing on a non-medical device, wherein the non-medical device is not configured to detect a medical condition of a user;
- determining that the first notification was not acknowledged within a predetermined time frame;
- verifying, in response to determining that the first notification was not acknowledged within the predetermined time frame, whether the medical application has access to user interface resources of the non-medical device;
- and
- causing delivery of a second notification at a medical device attached to a body of the user to notify the user that the first notification has not been acknowledged.
One or more non-transitory processor-readable media storing instructions which, when executed by one or more processors, cause performance of operations comprising:
- generating a first notification via a medical application executing on a non-medical device, wherein the non-medical device is not configured to detect a medical condition of a user;
- determining that the first notification was not acknowledged within a predetermined time frame;
- verifying, in response to determining that the first notification was not acknowledged within the predetermined time frame, whether the medical application has access to user interface resources of the non-medical device;
- and
- causing delivery of a second notification at a medical device attached to a body of the user to notify the user that the first notification has not been acknowledged.
