Abstract
An aerosol generating device includes a cartridge configured to generate aerosol from an aerosol generating material; and a main body comprising an accommodation space for accommodating the cartridge, wherein an airflow passage for introducing external air is formed between a wall of the main body adjoining the accommodation space and a wall of the cartridge when the cartridge is accommodated in the accommodation space of the main body.
Claims9
An aerosol generating device comprising:
- a cartridge configured to generate aerosol from an aerosol generating material;
- and
- a main body comprising an accommodation space that is configured to accommodate the cartridge,
- wherein an airflow passage, that is configured to introduce external air, is formed between a wall of the main body adjoining the accommodation space and a wall of the cartridge based on the cartridge being accommodated in the accommodation space of the main body, and
- wherein:
- at least one from among the wall of main body adjoining the accommodation space and the wall of the cartridge comprises a plurality of projection portions spaced apart from each other, such that the airflow passage is formed between the plurality of projection portions based on the cartridge being accommodated in the accommodation space of the main body;
- or
- the cartridge comprises a chamfer portion at edges, such that the airflow passage is formed between the chamfer portion and the wall of the main body adjoining the accommodation space based on the cartridge being accommodated in the accommodation space of the main body.
