Abstract
Embodiments of the present disclosure provide methods and apparatus for group content delivery. A method in a communication network which comprises the content provider node and a broadcast-multicast service node, wherein the content provider node needs to deliver a message to a group of user equipments via the broadcast multicast service node. The method comprises obtaining one or more group identifiers. The method further comprises sending the one or more group identifiers to the broadcast-multicast service node.
Claims22
A method at a broadcast-multicast service node, the method comprising:
- obtaining one or more group identifiers, wherein the one or more group identifiers are applicable when a service announcement mode is set to service announcement channel, wherein the service announcement mode is set to service announcement channel for session modification that includes group identifier modification, and wherein the one or more group identifiers are delivered using javascript object notation schema that indicates an array value type, the array to be an empty list by default;
- and
- sending service announcement information including the one or more group identifiers to one or more user equipments.
An apparatus to implement a broadcast-multicast service node, comprising:
- a processor and a memory storing instructions that, when executed by the processor, causing the apparatus to perform:
- obtaining one or more group identifiers, wherein the one or more group identifiers are applicable when a service announcement mode is set to service announcement channel, wherein the service announcement mode is set to service announcement channel for session modification that includes group identifier modification, and wherein the one or more group identifiers are delivered using javascript object notation schema that indicates an array value type, the array to be an empty list by default;
- and
- sending service announcement information including the one or more group identifiers to one or more user equipments.
A method at a content provider node, the method comprising:

- sending the one or more group identifiers to a broadcast-multicast service node.
