Abstract
Systems and methods for aggregating samples of Proactive Network Maintenance (PNM) data representing state information of a communications network. Each sample may be associated with one of a plurality of different frequency ranges, where the samples are aggregated over a temporal range and aggregated over a frequency range. The data aggregated in this manner may then be used to configure the network.

A device operatively connectable to a communications network having at least one network component that obtains sequential measurements of Proactive Network Maintenance (PNM) information, each measurement having a common associated metric, and each measurement associated with one of a plurality of different frequency ranges, the device comprising memory configured to store the measurements and at least one processor that performs temporal aggregation of the measurements and frequency aggregation of the measurements, and configures the network based on the temporally and frequency aggregated measurements, where the temporally and frequency aggregated measurements are expressed in the common associated metric.
