Method and system for facilitating collaboration sessions

A method of facilitating a collaboration session among a plurality of conferees, each conferee using a distinct interface device that includes a distinct display screen, the method also for use with at least a first common display screen in addition to the interface devices that is located within a conference space for viewing by conferees within the conference space, the method comprising the steps of:

• presenting a session interface on each interface device that is linked to a content sharing session wherein each session interface includes a content sharing window and a private file queue that is unique to the interface device, each private file queue including content representations, each content representation in the private file queue associated with a file that is available for viewing during the conference session;
• upon selection of a content representation from the private file queue for sharing via any one of the interface devices, presenting the file associated with the selected content representation via each of the content sharing windows and via the at least a first common display screen;
• upon selection of a content representation from the private file queue for private viewing via any one of the interface devices, presenting the file associated with the selected content representation via a private window on the display screen of the interface device used to select the content representation without presenting the file in the content sharing windows;
• and
• wherein, any interface device may be used to select and share any file associated with any content representation in the private file queue presented by the interface device and any interface device may be used to select and privately access any file associated with any content representation in the private file queue presented by the interface device.

A method of facilitating a collaboration session among a plurality of conferees, each conferee using a distinct interface device that includes a distinct display screen, the method comprising the steps of:

• presenting a session interface on each interface device that is linked to a content sharing session wherein each session interface includes a content sharing window and a private file queue that is unique to the interface device, each private file queue including content representations, each content representation in the private file queue associated with a file that a conferee associated with the interface device has moved into the private file queue;
• upon selection of a content representation from the private file queue for sharing via any one of the interface devices, presenting the file associated with the selected content representation via each of the content sharing windows and via the at least a first common display screen;
• upon selection of a content representation from the private file queue for private viewing via any one of the interface devices, presenting the file associated with the selected content representation via a private window on the display screen of the interface device used to select the content representation without presenting the file in the content sharing windows;
• and
• wherein, any interface device may be used to select and share any file associated with any content representation in the private file queue presented by the interface device and any interface device may be used to select and privately access any file associated with any content representation in the private file queue presented by the interface device.
