Abstract
There is provided in one embodiment an apparatus having an image sensor array. In one embodiment, the image sensor array can include monochrome pixels and color sensitive pixels. The monochrome pixels can be pixels without wavelength selective color filter elements. The color sensitive pixels can include wavelength selective color filter elements.

A device comprising:
- at least one two-dimensional image sensor array comprising at least a plurality of first pixels disposed in a plurality of rows, wherein the at least one two-dimensional image sensor array comprises a first image sensor array and a second image sensor array;
- a memory storing instructions that, when executed by a processor, configure the device to:
- capture a plurality of color frames of image data using the first image sensor array at a first frame rate;
- capture a plurality of second frames of image data using the second image sensor array at a second frame rate, at least one of the second frames of image data comprising one or more decodable indicia;
- and
- in an instance in which the at least one of the second frames of image data is captured, decode the one or more decodable indicia,
- wherein the second frame rate is greater than the first frame rate.

- at least one two-dimensional image sensor array comprising at least a plurality of first pixels disposed in a plurality of rows;
- a memory storing instructions that, when executed by a processor, configure the device to:
- capture a plurality of color frames of image data using at least a portion of the at least one two-dimensional image sensor array at a first frame rate, wherein the plurality of color frames of image data comprise pictures of a parcel;
- capture a plurality of second frames of image data using at least a portion of the at least one two-dimensional image sensor array at a second frame rate, at least one of the second frames of image data comprising one or more decodable indicia, wherein the one or more decodable indicia are associated with the parcel;
- and
- in an instance in which the at least one of the second frames of image data is captured, decode the one or more decodable indicia,
- wherein the second frame rate is greater than the first frame rate, and
- wherein the plurality of color frames of image data and the second frames of image data are stored in association with the parcel.

- a color display configured to display a graphical user interface;
- a processor;
- at least one wireless radio transceiver;
- at least one two-dimensional image sensor array comprising at least a plurality of first pixels disposed in a plurality of rows;

- capture a plurality of color frames of image data using at least a portion of the at least one two-dimensional image sensor array at a first frame rate, wherein the plurality of color frames of image data comprise pictures of a parcel;
- capture a plurality of second frames of image data using at least a portion of the at least one two-dimensional image sensor array at a second frame rate, at least one of the second frames of image data comprising one or more decodable indicia, wherein the one or more decodable indicia are associated with the parcel;

- in an instance in which the at least one of the second frames of image data is captured, decode the one or more decodable indicia,
- wherein the second frame rate is greater than the first frame rate, and
- wherein the plurality of color frames of image data and the second frames of image data are stored in association with the parcel.

- in an instance in which the at least one of the second frames of image data is captured, decode the one or more decodable indicia,
- wherein the second frame rate is greater than the first frame rate.
