Abstract
An approach is provided for forecasting and reporting available access times of a physical resource. Availability data of a physical resource may be determined from historical data of the physical resource, counter data of the physical resource, reservation data of the physical resource, constraint data of the physical resource, and criteria data of the physical resource, or any combination thereof. The availability data may be displayed on client computing devices upon request.
Claims20
A method comprising:
- receiving a request from a first computing device, the request specifying a physical premises and a criteria data specifying at least a requested access for the physical premises;
- determining, by one or more processors on a second computing device based on one or more metrics associated with the physical premises, availability data for the physical premises, wherein the availability data for the physical premises includes one or more times to access the physical premises;
- wherein the one or more metrics are determined from historical data that specifies past access of the physical premises that includes past counter data or past reservation data, and current counter data generated by one or more physical traffic counter devices measuring physical traffic of visitors detected in a proximity of the physical premises;
- executing the request by generating a graphical user interface based at least in part on the availability data and the criteria data.

- one or more processors;
- and
- one or more memories communicatively coupled to the one or more processors and storing instructions which, when processed by the one or more processors, cause:
- receiving a request from a first computing device, the request specifying a physical premises and a criteria data specifying at least a requested access for the physical premises;
- determining, by one or more processors on a second computing device based on one or more metrics associated with the physical resource, availability data for the physical premises, wherein the availability data for the physical premises includes one or more times to access the physical premises;
- wherein the one or more metrics are determined from historical data that specifies past access of the physical premises that includes past counter data or past reservation data, and current counter data generated by one or more physical traffic counter devices measuring physical traffic of visitors detected in a proximity of the physical premises;
- executing the request by generating a graphical user interface based at least in part on the availability data and the criteria data.
