Systems and methods for memory serviceability mitigation

A memory device having program instructions stored thereon that, upon execution by a process of an Information Handling System (IHS), cause the IHS to:

• receive a notification from a client IHS indicating that the client IHS has entered a mitigation mode of operation with respect to a memory device;
• and
• transmit a message to the client IHS related to a replacement memory device, wherein the client IHS is configured to, in response to the message and upon detection of a chassis intrusion event, leave the mitigation mode of operation with respect to the replacement memory device.

A method, comprising:

• entering, upon execution of Basic Input/Output System (BIOS) instructions, a mitigation mode of operation with respect to a memory device of an Information Handling System (IHS);
• and
• in response to a message from a cloud service related to a replacement memory device, and upon detection of a chassis intrusion event, leaving the mitigation mode of operation with respect to the replacement memory device.
