Abstract
A method including: detecting that an aerial vehicle is located at a reference axis of a sensor, or at a predetermined or calculated angle of the reference axis of the sensor, the method further comprising, by a processor and memory circuitry: obtaining a given position Paerial of the aerial vehicle upon its detection at the reference axis of the sensor, or upon its detection at the predetermined or calculated angle of the reference axis of the sensor, and position Psensor of the sensor, and determining, based at least on Paerial and Psensor, a cardinal direction with respect to the reference axis.
Claims21
A system including a processor and memory circuitry configured to:
- obtain a position Paerial of an aerial vehicle upon its detection at a reference axis of a sensor, or upon its detection at a predetermined or calculated angle of the reference axis of the sensor, and
- determine, based at least on Paerial and a position Psensor of the sensor, a cardinal direction with respect to the reference axis of the sensor.
A system comprising a processor and memory circuitry, wherein, for a plurality of sensors including at least one first sensor and at least one second sensor, the system is configured to:
- obtain a position Paerial of an aerial vehicle upon its detection at a first reference axis of the first sensor, or upon its detection at a first predetermined or calculated angle of the first reference axis of the first sensor,
- determine, at the position Paerial of the aerial vehicle, a deviation between the aerial vehicle and a second reference axis of the second sensor,
- determine, based at least on Paerial and a position Psensor,1 of the first sensor, a cardinal direction with respect to the first reference axis of the first sensor,
- determine, based at least on Paerial, a position Psensor,2 of the second sensor, and said deviation, the cardinal direction with respect to the second reference axis of the second sensor.
A method including:
- detecting that an aerial vehicle is located at a reference axis of a sensor, or at a predetermined or calculated angle of the reference axis of the sensor,
- the method further comprising, by a processor and memory circuitry:
- obtaining a position Paerial of the aerial vehicle upon its detection at the reference axis of the sensor, or upon its detection at the predetermined or calculated angle of the reference axis of the sensor, and position Psensor of the sensor, and
- determining, based at least on Paerial and Psensor, a cardinal direction with respect to the reference axis.
A non-transitory computer readable medium comprising instructions that, when executed by one or more processing circuitries, cause the one or more processing circuitries to perform:
- obtaining a position Paerial of an aerial vehicle upon its detection at a reference axis of a sensor, or upon its detection at a predetermined or calculated angle of the reference axis of the sensor, and
- determining, based at least on Paerial and a position Psensor of the sensor, a cardinal direction with respect to the reference axis of the sensor.
