Estrogen receptor modulators

A method of treatment, comprising

• identifying a subject that is in need of treatment for a disease or condition that is estrogen receptor alpha dependent and/or estrogen receptor alpha mediated;
• and
• administering to said subject an effective amount of a compound of Formula (I), or a pharmaceutically acceptable salt thereof, having the structure:
• wherein:
• each X1, X2, X3 and X4 is independently N or CR2;
• Y is a bond, alkenyl, —O(CR3R4)m—, or —NH(CR5R6)n—;
• R1 is selected from H, F, OH, CN, alkyl, haloalkyl, alkoxy, amide, or hydroxyalkyl;
• each R2, R3, R4, R5 and R6 is independently H, halogen, alkoxy, or alkyl;
• R7 is H or halogen;
• m and n are each 0, 1 or 2;
• and
• A is a heterocyclyl optionally substituted with 1 or more substituents selected from halogen, CN, OH, alkyl, alkenyl, alkynyl, cycloalkyl, haloalkyl, haloalkylamino, haloalkoxy, hydroxyalkyl, or cyanoalkyl;
• wherein the disease or condition is selected from the group consisting of breast cancer, gynecological cancer, endometrial cancer, ovarian cancer, and cervical cancer.
