Apparatus for attaching display panel and method for providing display device using the same

An apparatus for attaching a display panel, comprising:

• a panel mount which receives the display panel including a plurality of surfaces, the surfaces comprising:
• a front surface including first to fourth sides,
• a first side surface extending from the first side of the front surface in a first direction,
• a second side surface extending from the second side of the front surface in a second direction which crosses the first direction,
• a third side surface extending from the third side of the front surface in the first direction,
• a fourth side surface extending from the fourth side of the front surface in the second direction,
• a first corner portion between the first side surface and the second side surface, a second corner portion between the second side surface and the third side surface,
• a third corner portion between the third side surface and the fourth side surface, and
• a fourth corner portion between the first side surface and the fourth side surface;
• and
• a pressing module which provides a pressing force to a panel bottom cover which faces the plurality of surfaces of the display panel, the pressing module comprising:
• a pressing pad which applies the pressing force to the panel bottom cover at the first to fourth corner portions of the display panel, to attach the panel bottom cover to the display panel at the first to fourth corner portions thereof, and
• the pressing pad comprising:
• a first pressing portion corresponding to the first side surface of the display panel;
• a second pressing portion corresponding to the second side surface of the display panel;
• a third pressing portion corresponding to the third side surface of the display panel;
• a fourth pressing portion corresponding to the fourth side surface of the display panel;
• a first corner-pressing portion corresponding to the first corner portion of the display panel, and disposed between the first pressing portion and the second pressing portion;
• a second corner-pressing portion corresponding to the second corner portion of the display panel, and disposed between the second pressing portion and the third pressing portion;
• a third corner-pressing portion corresponding to the third corner portion of the display panel, and disposed between the third pressing portion and the fourth pressing portion;
• and
• a fourth corner-pressing portion corresponding to the fourth corner portion of the display panel, and disposed between the fourth pressing portion and the first pressing portion.
