Aerosol generating apparatus for controlling power of heater and operation method thereof

An aerosol generating system comprising:

• an aerosol generating device including formed therein a first accommodation space having an aerosol generating article inserted therein;
• a cradle including formed therein a second accommodation space having the aerosol generating device accommodated therein, wherein the aerosol generating device includes:
• a battery charged by power received from the cradle while the aerosol generating device is accommodated in the second accommodation space;
• an induction coil configured to form a magnetic field within the first accommodation space by receiving power from the battery;
• and
• a controller electrically connected to the induction coil,
• wherein the controller is configured to:
• when the aerosol generating article is inserted into the first accommodation space, heat the aerosol generating article by controlling the induction coil to form the magnetic field;
• when the aerosol generating article is moved or removed from the first accommodation space, stop supply of power to the induction coil after a certain time elapses;
• and
• when the aerosol generating article is inserted again after moved or removed from the first accommodation space, not stop the supply of power to the induction coil.
