Printing device, printing control method, and storage medium

An alignment adjustment method that is executed by a printing device including a first print head that ejects a first ink for printing a base, and a second print head that ejects multiple second inks for printing a design, wherein the first ink, and the second inks have different colors from each other, the method comprising:

• upon performing alignment adjustment of the first print head,
• controlling the first print head so that a first alignment pattern is printed by the first ink, and controlling the second print head so that a first background image to be a background of the first alignment pattern is printed by an ink for which a number of printable times of auxiliary printing is highest among the multiple second inks ahead of printing of the first alignment pattern.

A non-transitory computer readable storage medium storing an alignment adjustment program that is executed by a printing device including a first print head that ejects a first ink for printing a base, and a second print head that ejects multiple second inks for printing a design, wherein the first ink, and the second ink have different colors from each other, the alignment adjustment program causing a computer to:

• upon performing alignment adjustment of the first print head,
• control the first print head so that a first alignment pattern is printed by the first ink, and control the second print head so that a first background image to be a background of the first alignment pattern is printed by an ink for which a number of printable times of auxiliary printing is highest among the multiple second inks ahead of printing of the first alignment pattern.
