Abstract
An electronic vaping device includes a housing extending in a longitudinal direction, a reservoir in the housing, the reservoir configured to store a pre-vapor formulation, a heater in the housing, the heater configured to heat the pre-vapor formulation, at least one portion formed of a material including at least one polymer and at least one oxygen sequestering agent, and a power supply.
Claims15
An electronic vaping device comprising:
- a cartridge including,
- a reservoir containing a pre-vapor formulation, and
- a housing, the housing at least partially surrounding the reservoir containing the pre-vapor formulation, the housing including,
- a first housing, and
- a first connector at an end of the first housing, the first connector formed of a material including at least one polymer and at least one oxygen sequestering material, the at least one oxygen sequestering material configured to absorb atmospheric oxygen;
- and
- a power supply section including,
- a second housing,
- a second connector at an end of the second housing, the second connector configured to engage the first connector of the cartridge, and
- a power supply in the second housing,
- wherein the oxygen sequestering material includes a filler, a metal reactant, and an ultraviolet (UV) radiation sensitive die such that the oxygen sequestering material is configured to activate in response to exposure to UV light.
