Abstract
A method is provided for preparing a hair dye color mixture. The method includes: accessing a control system having at least a processor, a memory, and user input controls, the memory configured to store ingredients of a hair dye color mixture, receiving user input from the user input controls to change one or more ingredients of the hair dye color mixture to a new product brand; matching the color of the hair dye color mixture using one or more ingredients of the new product brand, in response to the user input; and displaying the ingredients of the hair dye color mixture in the new product brand on a display.

A method for color conversion of a hair dye color mixture using a control system having at least a processor, a memory, and user input controls for receiving user input, the memory configured to store customer history data, the customer history data including one or more of stored formulas and one or more photographs, the method comprising:
- displaying at least some of the customer history data;
- receiving user input to recreate a selection in the customer history data with the hair dye color mixture in a new product brand;
- duplicating the color of the selection in the customer history data using ingredients in the new product brand, in response to the user input;
- and
- displaying the ingredients of the hair dye color mixture in the new product brand on a display.
A system for preparing a hair dye color mixture, the system comprising:
- a control system having at least one processor, a memory, and user input controls that receive user input, the memory storing customer history data in the memory, the customer history data including one or more of stored formulas of a hair dye color mixture and one or more photographs, the memory further storing a set of instructions that when executed by the at least one processor, causes the at least one processor to:
- initiate display at least some of the customer history data;
- receive user input to recreate a selection in the customer history data with the hair dye color mixture in a new product brand;
- duplicate the color of the selection in the customer history data using ingredients in the new product brand, in response to the user input;
- and
- initiate display the ingredients of the hair dye color mixture in the new product brand on a display.
A system for preparing a hair dye color mixture, the system comprising:
- a control system having at least one processor, a memory, and user input controls that receive user input, the memory storing customer history data in the memory, the customer history data including one or more photographs, the memory further storing a set of instructions that when executed by the at least one processor, causes the at least one processor to:
- initiate display at least some of the customer history data;
- receive user input to recreate a selection in the customer history data with the hair dye color mixture in a new product brand;
- duplicate the color of the selection in the customer history data using ingredients in the new product brand, in response to the user input;
- and
- initiate dispense of the ingredients of the hair dye color mixture in the new product brand on a display.
