Device, network, and method for receiving data transmission under scheduling decoding delay in mmWave communication

A user equipment (UE) comprising:

• at least one processor;
• and
• a non-transitory computer readable storage medium storing programming for execution by the at least one processor, the programming including instructions to cause the UE to:
• receive a physical downlink control channel (PDCCH) containing information for receiving a physical downlink shared channel (PDSCH), the information in the PDCCH including a first receive beamforming parameter indicator field, the first receive beamforming parameter indicator field indicating at least one receive beamforming parameter;
• and
• receive the PDSCH by using the at least one receive beamforming parameter indicated by the first receive beamforming parameter indicator field based on a time between the PDCCH and the PDSCH and based on a delay associated with the UE.

A base station comprising:

• at least one processor;
• and
• a non-transitory computer readable storage medium storing programming for execution by the at least one processor, the programming including instructions to cause the base station to:
• transmit, to a user equipment (UE), a physical downlink control channel (PDCCH) containing information for receiving a physical downlink shared channel (PDSCH), the information in the PDCCH including a first receive beamforming parameter indicator field, the first receive beamforming parameter indicator field indicating at least one receive beamforming parameter;
• and
• transmit, to the UE, the PDSCH by using the at least one receive beamforming parameter indicated by the first receive beamforming parameter indicator field based on a time between the PDCCH and the PDSCH and based on a delay associated with the UE.
